Are you an Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Team Leader with a strong background in the food or FMCG / manufacturing sector, looking for an exciting new role with a rapidly expanding, market leading FMCG company? This is a unique opportunity for exactly that. My East Anglia based client is a rapidly growing, award winning food manufacturer who are going through an exceptional period of growth and outside investment. There simply isn’t a better time to join!

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role will be diverse. You will be managing a small team of Maintenance Engineers, which will involve planning and delegating their workload, writing and maintaining the PPM / CMMS with a focus on improving reliability and site wide improvements, performance management - with the ultimate aim of getting your team working happily, efficiently and effectively!

With a huge amount of investment currently happening, you will also be involved in project work with ongoing improvements happening throughout. There will also be an impetus towards Lean and CI / RCA, and long-term fixes.

As a close-knit site, the cultural fit is absolutely key, therefore my client is looking for genuine team players who want to be part of the exciting journey that they are currently on! Food / FMCG / manufacturing experience is key, as is a proven background in this sector as an Engineering Supervisor / Team Leader / Senior Engineer with experience of leading multi-disciplined engineering teams. Of course, they will also consider current Maintenance Managers who are looking for a new challenge too.
