We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and optimise our daily insurance operations.
This role is pivotal to ensuring our processes are efficient, compliant with industry regulations, and seamlessly integrated, with a specific focus on leveraging our HubSpot platform.
You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring our operational strategies align with our business goals.
What you\’ll get up to:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of key insurance processes
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust operational policies and procedures to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Serve as the primary Operations owner and expert for our HubSpot platform
- Optimise HubSpot workflows, automation, custom objects, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless integration and effective utilisation of HubSpot across all operational touch points.
- Identify and implement opportunities for HubSpot-driven automation to reduce manual tasks and improve response times.
- Implement and champion a culture of continuous improvement across operations.
- Ensure all operational activities adhere to FCA regulations, industry best practices, and internal compliance standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance to ensure seamless coordination and efficient end-to-end processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for operational queries and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilise HubSpot\’s reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights into customer journeys, policy lifecycle, and team performance.
About you:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an Operations Management role within the insurance industry.
- Proven expertise as a HubSpot Administrator or power user, with in-depth knowledge of HubSpot CRM, Service Hub, and Workflow automation.
- In depth understanding of the UK insurance market, including regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA rules) and common insurance processes.
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that result in tangible benefits.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience with other insurance-specific software or core platforms.
