About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (Medtech & Life Science) to help spearhead our growth initiatives. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to increase revenue.
The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of the Medtech & Life Science industry, including market trends, and technological advancements, combined with excellent sales & negotiation skills.
What you'll get up to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
- Identify, engage, and secure new clients in the Medtech & Life Sciences field, including Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare organisations.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive prospecting and consultative selling.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Preparation and delivery of compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and opportunities within the Medtech & Life Science sector to inform strategic planning.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Underwriting, Product and Operations to align offerings with client needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on data analysis and market research.
About you:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the Medtech & Life Sciences industry.
- Results-driven with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of the life sciences market, including industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience using our tools and software including Hubspot, Cognism, Aircall, Slack, Crunchbase & Beauhurst is a bonus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation.
