Job Summary: Supermicro is looking for a highly-experienced, successful and proven (Sr.) Sales Manager to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions to large enterprise customers. You will possess the expertise in managing end-to-end sales processes involving complex, multi-portfolio, large deals. The ideal candidate must have a strong, credible and professional working relationship with C-Level executives at current and past clients, plus the ability to create similar synergies at new accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, engage, and qualify decision-makers in key UK sectors/customers (e.g., automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, smart cities, energy) focusing on tailored outreach to drive customer/project acquisition.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, field application engineers (FAEs), product teams, software vendors, and ecosystem partners to design and propose optimized end-to-end hardware solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, drive revenue growth in new verticals, meet targets, and ensure long-term success.
  • Represent the company at UK industry events, including trade shows and exhibitions, by engaging with prospects, supporting booth activities, and generating new leads.
  • Build and sustain relationships with clients, including C-level executives, to foster strategic partnerships and long-term success.
  • Grow our business & market share with top Enterprise, Public Sector, ISVs, CPSs and GSIs.
  • Accountable for acquiring, managing, and developing new customer portfolios and generating new revenue.
  • Accountable for influencing customers and driving their sales motions and projects towards the best Supermicro solutions fitting customer needs.
  • Accountable for regular pipeline, opportunity, and business reviews against objectives.
  • Drive customer projects internally, be an advocate for winning new business and driving awareness internally to obtain necessary sponsorship and support.
  • Drive sales & go-to-market strategies and engagements with customers, positioning Supermicro's full solution stacks & products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role & responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated past success and ability to acquire, engage & influence customer C-Level and senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Understanding of compute, workloads, server, storage, management solutions, cloud data centres and enterprise IT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving RFP responses and aligning winning strategies.
  • Understanding of customers’ sales motions and business (Enterprise, Public Sector, ISVs, CPSs and GSIs).
  • Strategic business thinker coupled with a passion for execution.
  • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
  • Ability to work effectively across matrixed organizations and time zones internally & with customers.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communications skills.
  • Strong track record in identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and closing deals in technical solution sales within the UK market.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and engage effectively with C-level executives.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as required.
