As Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will own and evolve the company's product narrative, competitive positioning, category strategy, and go-to-market orchestration across all product lines. This is not a traditional PMM leadership role. You will design and lead an AI-native product marketing function where agents and real-time signals handle synthesis, distribution, and adaptation — and humans retain ownership of judgment, positioning, and category narrative. You will architect the strategic spine, the agent workflows, and the governance model that makes this work.
This role is ideal for a senior PMM leader who has moved beyond using AI as a productivity tool and is ready to redesign how product marketing operates — replacing periodic, manual processes with continuous intelligence systems while maintaining the strategic craft that defines great PMM.
Your Day-to-day Work And Responsibilities Include:
- Design and lead an AI-native Product Marketing function by architecting the strategic spine, agent workflows, and governance model. Agents will handle synthesis, distribution, and adaptation, while humans retain ownership of judgment and the category narrative.
- Own and refine the core product story, value propositions, and messaging framework across all segments and regions, serving as the human-judgment authority for the strategic spine.
- Design agent-assisted workflows to continuously test and adapt messaging across channels and personas, replacing periodic refreshes with a scalable, living messaging system.
- Lead Strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) orchestration, architecting GTM playbooks and designing the always-on GTM infrastructure that handles feature releases and adoption nudges.
- Build agent-driven launch orchestration workflows that coordinate cross-functional dependencies, generate channel-specific content, and adapt distribution based on real-time engagement signals.
- Partner on GTM motions to support both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led Growth (SLG), including defining the governance model for agent autonomy in GTM decisions.
- Serve as a key collaborator in Pricing, Packaging & Monetisation decisions, bringing competitive context and buyer perception to the table, and translating decisions into compelling buyer-facing narratives.
- Establish an always-on Customer, Competitive & Market Intelligence system where agents continuously monitor positioning, product changes, pricing moves, and community sentiment.
- Design and maintain dynamic, agent-generated enablement assets (such as battlecards and win/loss analysis) that update automatically as new competitive data arrives, moving enablement from static documents to a fluid system.
- Equip Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to translate technical capabilities into buyer value, with agents providing real-time context and humans delivering narrative judgment.
- Lead, coach, and develop the PMM team, designing the human + agent operating model by defining which workflows are human-led versus agent-operated and building AI fluency across the team.
- Define PMM career paths and institutionalize processes that reflect the AI-native model, emphasizing strategic judgment, system design, agent orchestration, and narrative craft.
This position is for you if you have:
- 12+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles within B2B SaaS.
- 8+ years leading PMM teams, ideally in high-growth or scale-up environments.
- Proven success launching technical SaaS products and driving multi-segment GTM strategies (hybrid PLG + SLG).
- Exceptional storytelling skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts simply and clearly.
- Deep understanding of SaaS monetisation, pricing, and packaging.
- Experience partnering with executive teams to influence product direction and revenue strategy.
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated experience designing workflows where AI/agents handle execution within human-defined strategic frameworks — not just 'using AI tools,' but rethinking how the work gets done.
- A clear point of view on what PMM humans should own vs. what agents should operate — and the judgment to know where the line sits.
- Experience with adtech/martech, data, analytics, cloud platforms, BI tools, ETL/ELT, or data warehousing.
We also appreciate it if you have:
- Familiarity with the workflows of Marketing Ops, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Growth teams.
- Experience building or operating agent-driven workflows for competitive intelligence, content generation, or GTM orchestration.
- Familiarity with AI agent platforms, prompt engineering principles, or workflow automation tools — not to build them, but to design and govern them effectively.
