The BAFTA‑winning Until Dawn, the cinematic masterclass of The Dark Pictures Anthology, the multi‑award winning The Quarry, the action‑packed rollercoaster horror VR titles Switchback VR and Rush of Blood to the world of Little Nightmares, and many more! Time and time again, our incredibly talented and passionate team has delivered games that strike fear into all that dare to play.
This is a 6 month fixed‑term contract to start February 2026. In this role you will support multiple game projects by maintaining build systems and developing tools. You will collaborate directly with game teams to understand their needs, develop extensible systems, and provide ongoing support. You will need to take advantage of different systems and technologies, and work with a diverse range of users with varying levels of technical expertise. In addition to developing technical solutions, you will be creating interactive dashboards and web‑based content workflows.
Typical Day
- Working with a small team to develop web‑based tools for game teams
- Developing features in our build system infrastructure, such as monitoring or build machine provisioning
- Implementing data processing pipelines that operate on large volumes of motion capture data
- Meeting regularly with stakeholders to report on progress and receive feedback
- Creating technical designs for solutions and collaborating with technical peers to address feedback
- Planning large deliverables, breaking them down into smaller tasks and providing time estimates
- Responding to bug reports or support requests, working closely with colleagues on game teams to resolve issues
Requirements
- Experience managing automation systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins in a game development environment (CI/CD, data processing, agent provisioning, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems such as Perforce or Git
- Full‑stack web development skills (HTML/CSS, Javascript/Typescript, SolidJS or React, NodeJS, MongoDB)
- Experience with system monitoring and process dashboards (ElasticSearch, time‑series visualisation)
- Scripting and application development using Python and PyQT/PySide
- Application deployment using containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Professional attitude towards support, including face‑to‑face support, progress updates and high‑quality documentation
- Preferably some experience working with Unreal Engine and C++
- Experience with motion capture data processing would be beneficial
