We are a trusted Walsall-based roll‑forming company seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead our cold‑rolled produced sections and sheet metal component lines. The role includes people management, health and safety, quality, and documentation within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the manufacturing function within budget and output targets to meet customer expectations and standards.
  • Full accountability for health and safety, quality and performance within the manufacturing process.
  • Develop an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team.
  • Drive continuous improvement philosophy and best practices with effective leadership.
  • Manage an efficient workforce across a 3‑shift pattern.
  • Plan and organise production schedules.
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all production processes.
  • Monitor productivity rates, standards and quality control.
  • Liaise closely with planning and sales departments.
  • Ensure plant and equipment is maintained to the desired standards.
  • Manage health and safety processes.
  • Coach staff in how to improve their productivity and quality performance.
  • Attend monthly management and HSE meetings and report on relevant KPIs.
  • Ensure quality procedures are followed and documentation is completed as required.
  • Ensure consumable products within the process are stocked and readily available.

Working Hours

8 am – 5 pm Monday to Thursday
