Days: 08:00 – 20:00
Nights: 20:00 – 08:00
Competitive pay rate of £20.00 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Romanian-speaking Complex Care Assisatnt to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home. Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one support and make a real difference to a young child’s quality of life.
About the Role
As a Complex Care Assisatnt, you will provide person-centred care tailored to the client’s individual needs, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
- Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions
- Building a positive relationship with the client and her family
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
- Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
- Competent in Moving and Handling
- Full UK driving licence and confident driver
- Right to work in the UK
