We are recruiting a Complex Healthcare Assistant to support an individual with athetoid cerebral palsy and spinal scoliosis who requires 24-hour ventilatory support via tracheostomy, including suctioning and careful positioning for comfort. We are seeking a reliable, punctual, warm, and compassionate carer who enjoys being chatty and engaging in activities such as baking and crafts.
Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes. As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will join our complex care team and work long-term with one or a small number of clients. You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime. We are ideally looking for carers, support workers, and healthcare assistants who are keen to work full-time hours; however, part-time roles are offered.
How we’ll support you: Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us, paid induction shifts, and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors. If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you, as a community care assistant, can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:
- Previous care experience involving personal care
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
- A minimum commitment of 2x shifts a week
