Complex Care Assistant required
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Complex Care Assistant to support a delightful 5-year-old child in her family home.
Our client lives with her parents and two siblings and enjoys singing, music, and engaging with those around her.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one support and make a real difference to a young child’s quality of life.
About the role
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care tailored to the client’s individual needs, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
- Supporting a young child with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy
- Monitoring and responding appropriately to seizure activity
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities including school runs
- Providing safe moving and handling support using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Encouraging participation in activities she enjoys, including singing and play-based interactions
- Building a positive relationship with the client and her family
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
Essential requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with Cerebral Palsy
- Experience supporting individuals with Epilepsy
- Competent in Moving and Handling
- Full UK driving licence and confident driver
- Right to work in the UK
- Caring, reliable, and patient nature
