We are looking for motivated, engaging Rehabilitation Assistants to support a young person as they begin the next chapter of their life following significant health challenges. This is not a traditional care role. This is an opportunity to be part of a rebuilding journey—helping someone regain independence, confidence, and purpose. About the Role

You will work as part of a small, dedicated team supporting in their daily routine, rehabilitation programme, and community reintegration. The focus is on progress, independence-building, and quality of life rather than just care delivery. This role requires individuals who are confident, engaging, and able to build a genuine connection—The client responds best to people with personality, humour, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prompting and supervising daily living activities
  • Supporting and encouraging personal hygiene and self‑care (with a view to increasing independence over time)
  • Supervising and supporting during meals, including safe swallowing and eating
  • Assisting with rehabilitation activities and therapy programmes
  • Supporting safe community access and meaningful activities
  • Balancing risk management with independence‑building

Rehabilitation‑Focused Approach

  • Therapy carryover and structured rehabilitation input
  • Skill redevelopment linked to the person’s interests and previous lifestyle
