Are you an experienced Healthcare Support Worker looking for your next rewarding role?
We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate support staff to work with a young adult with communication and learning difficulties in Hoo, near Rochester.
- Immediate start available
- 5 days paid training provided
- Day and Waking Night shifts available
Shift Patterns:
- Day Shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm
- Waking Nights: 7:00pm – 7:00am
- Shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
The Role:
You will be providing person-centred support to a young adult with:
- Severe epilepsy
- Communication difficulties
- Learning disabilities
Your duties will include:
- Supporting with nutrition and feeding, including occasional PEG feeding
- Personal care and dressing
- Mobility support
- Medication administration
- Promoting meaningful activities and rehabilitation
- Providing emotional support and encouraging independence wherever possible
Requirements:
- Previous healthcare/support work experience within a similar setting
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and epilepsy
- A clear Adult and Child DBS registered on the Update Service
- Compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care
