The Role: As a Rapid Response Nurse within Superior Healthcare’s Complex Care Team, you will provide clinical support to adults and children in their own homes, stepping in when their regular care or nursing team is unavailable. Rapid Response Nurses work with clients who have a variety of life-limiting conditions, including those present from birth, degenerative conditions, spinal and brain injuries, and those requiring interventions such as ventilation, gastrostomy, bowel management, and tracheostomy care.

In addition to direct client care, you may also assist with training and inducting new Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, helping to strengthen the overall care team. We currently have 4 openings with a choice of the below shift pattern:

  • Shift Pattern (Days Only, 8–12 hour shifts)
  • Week 1: Mon, Thu, Fri
  • Week 2: Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun
  • Week 3: Mon, Thu, Fri
  • Week 4: Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun

Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for clients' best interests.
  • Deliver exceptional person-centered care.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and company policies.
  • Support new members of the team on shift and guide them through the client’s care plan, regular tasks, and important information.

Requirements:

  • Clean UK driving license.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN with a minimum of three years post-registration.
  • Experienced in providing support for clients with tracheostomy, ventilators, PEG and cough assist.
