As a Rapid Response Complex Care Assistant within Superior Healthcare\’s Complex Care Team, you will provide support to clients in their own homes, stepping in when their regular care team is unavailable across the Sussex region. Rapid Response Support Workers work with clients who have a variety of life‑limiting conditions, including those present from birth, degenerative conditions, spinal and brain injuries, and those requiring interventions such as ventilation, PEG, tracheostomy care and epilepsy. We\’ll set you up for success with specialist paid training delivered by our expert clinical educators. Your journey starts with a comprehensive paid five‑day induction, equipping you with everything you need to thrive with Superior Healthcare. You also have support from our Nurse Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Advocate for clients\’ best interests.
  • Deliver exceptional person‑centered care.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and company policies.
  • Provide complex care interventions including PEG feeding, ventilator care and oral/nasal suctioning.
  • Assist clients with moving and handling, including use of a hoist.
  • Follow every client\’s individual care plan, as advised by the Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

  • Clean UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience providing support for clients with ventilators, PEG, epilepsy and tracheostomy.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

  • Shift pattern: days or nights, 8–12 hour shifts, average 35 hours per week, guaranteed hours contract.
  • Choice of day, night and weekend shifts.
  • Flexible or permanent contract.
