About the role: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support our 8-year-old client within their family home in Canterbury. This rewarding role involves providing person-centred care and promoting our young client's comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- PEG and enteral feeding
- Medication administration
- Supporting a child with severe learning difficulties
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Supporting daily living activities
- Monitoring and responding to changes in health and wellbeing
Shift Pattern: Waking Nights: 21:00- 07:00
Week 1: Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Friday, Sunday
This is a rolling two-week rota.
What we're looking for: To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience supporting children with complex care needs
- Full Right to Work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship
- Confidence supporting clients with complex health conditions
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach
- Drivers are preferred but not essential.
