Location: Canterbury, Kent

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour

Shifts: Waking Nights (21:00 - 07:00)

About the role: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support our 8-year-old client within their family home in Canterbury. This rewarding role involves providing person-centred care and promoting our young client's comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Epilepsy and seizure management
  • PEG and enteral feeding
  • Medication administration
  • Supporting a child with severe learning difficulties
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling
  • Supporting daily living activities
  • Monitoring and responding to changes in health and wellbeing

Shift Pattern: Waking Nights: 21:00 - 07:00

Week 1: Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Friday, Sunday

This is a rolling two-week rota.

What we're looking for: To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience supporting children with complex care needs
  • Full Right to Work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship
  • Confidence supporting clients with complex health conditions
  • A caring, reliable, and professional approach
  • Drivers are preferred but not essential.
