Are you an experienced Healthcare Support Worker looking for your next rewarding role? We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate support staff to work with a young adult with communication and learning difficulties in Hoo, near Rochester . Immediate start available 5 days paid training provided Day and Waking Night shifts available Shift Patterns: Day Shifts: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Waking Nights: 7:00pm - 7:00am
Shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
The Role: You will be providing person-centred support to a young adult with: Severe epilepsy
Communication difficulties
Learning disabilities
Your duties will include: Supporting with nutrition and feeding, including occasional PEG feeding
Personal care and dressing
Mobility support
Medication administration
Promoting meaningful activities and rehabilitation
Providing emotional support and encouraging independence wherever possible
Requirements: Previous healthcare/support work experience within a similar setting
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and epilepsy
A clear Adult and Child DBS registered on the Update Service
