Superior Healthcare delivers specialist community care to children, young people, and adults living with life‐limiting and often unpredictable conditions. We're recruiting children's complex care nurses in Kent and across the South East, with full‐time and part‐time hours available!

Location: Various roles across Kent, London and the South East.

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Duration: Full‐time and part‐time roles available.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional person‐centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and company policies.
  • Support clients with personal care and administer medication.
  • Move and handle clients, both with and without hoists.

Requirements:

  • Full UK right to work.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • 6 months minimum of UK care experience.

As a children's complex care nurse, you will provide high‐quality care and support to clients with complex healthcare needs. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with one or a few clients in your local area. Your role will involve ensuring that each client receives person‐centred care and helping them lead fulfilling and happy lives.

Day‐to‐day tasks may include supporting clients with personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, activity planning, and community access. You may also provide clinical support, including tracheostomy, PEG, and ventilation management. When required, you may assist with light household duties and preparing meals.

Your initial training will be a five‐day induction, offering you a chance to enhance and refresh your skills and meet other support workers, children's complex care nurses and registered nurses. If a client's needs require additional skills, such as tracheostomy care, airway management, or enteral feeding, we offer paid specialist training to enhance your skills further.
