Superior Healthcare is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Children's Complex Care Assistant to support a 12-year-old client with complex health needs in their family home.
About the Client
- Lives at home with mum, dad, and siblings
- Medical conditions include Trisomy 13, Tonic-Clonic seizures, and Osteoporosis
- Enjoys playing with toy trains and being outdoors in the sunshine
Shifts Available
- Tuesday every other Saturday and Sunday nights
- 9:30pm – 7:30am
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check
- Three years' continuous referencing
Responsibilities
- Seizure management and monitoring
- Oxygen administration
- PEG feeding (MIC-KEY button)
- Moving and handling
- Administration of medication as required
- Overnight monitoring to ensure safety and wellbeing
Requirements
- Previous experience in seizure management
- Able to fit seamlessly into a family home environment
- A clear communicator and good listener
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality care
- Respects the client's home and family life
- Driver Preferable
