Location: Various roles across Kent, London and the South East.

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Duration: Full-time and part-time roles available.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and company policies.
  • Support clients with personal care and administer medication.
  • Move and handle clients, both with and without hoists.
  • Be supportive, calm, and understanding.

Requirements:

  • Full UK right to work.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • 6 months minimum of UK care experience.
  • Enhanced DBS check and professional references.

As a complex care nurse, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex healthcare needs. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with one or a few clients in your local area. Your role will involve ensuring that each client receives person-centred care and helping them lead fulfilling and happy lives.

Day-to-day tasks:

  • Supporting clients with personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, activity planning, and community access.
  • Providing clinical support, including tracheostomy, PEG, and ventilation management.
  • Assisting with light household duties and preparing meals when required.

As a complex care nurse on our complex care team, you may work closely with nurses or other complex care assistants in a small, collaborative team. Our complex care nurses benefit from a fixed rota with a choice of days and opportunities for overtime.

Your initial training will be a five-day induction, offering you a chance to enhance and refresh your skills and meet other support workers, complex care nurses and registered nurses. If a client’s needs require additional skills, such as tracheostomy care, airway management, or enteral feeding, we offer paid specialist training to enhance your skills further.
