At Superior Healthcare, we empower children, young people, and adults with complex clinical needs to live safely, confidently, and joyfully at home. We're now seeking a Children's Complex Care Assistant to support an 11-year-old boy living with his family in Hove. This is a 2:1 package, providing consistent, attentive care throughout the night. The client is a bright young boy with a warm family environment (and two friendly cats!). He requires clinical support overnight to ensure his safety, comfort, and wellbeing. About the Role
You'll deliver dedicated overnight care, ensuring the client's clinical needs are met while maintaining a calm, reassuring environment. You'll work alongside another team member as part of a care team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ventilator care - monitoring and responding to ventilatory needs
- BIPAP support and basic observations
- PEG/J enteral feeding, including medications and flushes
- Oral and nasal suctioning
- Oxygen and nebuliser support
- Colostomy care (experience preferred)
- Bowel care
- Moving and handling
- Medication administration
- Overnight monitoring to ensure safety, comfort, and clinical stability
This role is ideal for someone calm, confident, and compassionate-someone who thrives in a one-to-one environment where attention to detail truly changes lives.

Thursday & Friday nights: 22:00 - 08:00
Alternating weekend nights: 22:00 - 08:00
Drivers are not essential. Additional hours may be available locally for those seeking more work. We'll collaborate with you to build a rota that supports your lifestyle.
