We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our Complex Care team, supporting a gentleman with a spinal injury in his family home. Your role will be to ensure he lives a fulfilled life while his complex health needs are well managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care tailored to the client's needs
- Support with hoisting/manual handling and bowel management
- Promote independence and well-being
- Drive the client's wheelchair-accessible vehicle when required
Client Preferences
- Physically active
- Previous experience supporting individuals with spinal injuries
- Ideally experienced in working with deaf clients (sign language advantageous)
Shift Pattern
- Ad hoc 24-hour shifts to cover sickness and annual leave
- Includes a sleeping night shift
