  • This position requires a lot of moving and handling with and without hoists.
  • To provide care interventions including: personal care, oral suction, medication, gastrostomy medication, and PEG enteral feeding.
  • Are you a support worker with experience supporting people who require complex care?
  • Are you committed to making a difference in someone\’s life? Our client is a male in his late 20s who lives at home with his parents. He leads an active lifestyle from day trips to London for medical appointments to sailing to baking cakes at home. He really enjoys sensory activities as he is registered blind and clear verbal communication is essential for this role. Due to our client being nonverbal, you must be intuitive to his needs at all times along with being a proactive thinker, positive attitude, self‑motivated individual and able to come up with new ideas and plan activities for the client at times when there isn\’t a set programme.
  • Full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
  • Comfortable driving a VW transporter vehicle locally and up to central London locations.
  • Flexibility of working 12‑hour shifts, both days and nights.
  • At least 6 months UK care experience at a minimum in a professional paid care setting.
  • Choice of day, night and weekend shifts.
  • Blue light card – we\’ll pay for it.
  • Reflective of the hard work that you do.
