Superior Healthcare is recruiting Care Assistants in Tunbridge Wells, with full-time and part-time hours available! About our client Our client is a male in his 30\’s who has sustained a spinal injury, our client lives within his own home, supported by an existing team of carers who help him on a daily basis to ensure his care needs are met. Our client is fully paralyzed so relies upon an existing team of support workers and care assistants to help support his daily needs including the highest level of care, house duties and ensuring that he can still attend and be a part of his favourite hobbies such as going to watch his favourite football team, fishing and the occasional trip to the local public house. The ideal candidate will have a considerate and empathetic nature – as well as a patient manner. You will appreciate that at times, our client\’s situation can lead to frustration but recognise that your participation as a reliable member of our care team will enable him to achieve the security that he seeks.
- This position requires moving and handling with and without hoists.
- To provide care including: personal care, medication support, and moving and positioning.
- To support the client with small domestic house duties.
- To be supportive, calm, and understanding.
Full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle and comfortable driving a mobility van - Flexibility of working 12 hours shifts, both days and nights
- 6 months minimum of UK care experience
Choice of day, night and weekend shifts - Choose a flexible or permanent contract.
