We are recruiting a Community Complex Support Worker to provide 2:1 support for a young male in Tunbridge Wells with complex epilepsy and developmental delay. Our client is non-verbal and requires support with enteral feeding and medication, oral suctioning, hoisting, and personal care. His needs also include motor disorder, reflux with vomiting and visual impairment. The ideal carer will be calm, gentle, and experienced in complex care.

Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes. As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you join our complex care team and will work long-term with one or a small number of clients. You will benefit from a fixed rota with the option of overtime. We are ideally looking for carers, support workers and healthcare assistants who are keen to work full-time hours; however, part-time roles are offered.

How we’ll support you: Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us and paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors. If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you, as a community care assistant, can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous care experience involving personal care
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • A minimum commitment of 2x shifts a week
