The Role: We are urgently seeking Carers, Support Workers, and Children Care Assistants in Tunbridge Wells for Waking Nights only . As a care assistant, you will have the opportunity to work on a long-term basis with one or a small number of clients in the local area. Shifts: 8-12 hours at night, caring for one paediatric client per shift. Schedule: Fixed rota with overtime options All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients. This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy. Additionally, individual, client-focused training continues following the initial classroom induction. SHCPAE Responsibilities PEG feeding, Oral suctioning, Ventilation Epilepsy, Tracheostomy care (Preferred but not essential) Medication administration Assist with clinical interventions such as PEG feeds, seizure management Requirements Nights Shifts Previous and recent care experience, involving personal care within the UK Full right to work within the UK Must be able to commit to at least two shifts per week Full UK driving license with access to a car Choice of day, night and weekend shifts Blue light card – we’ll pay for it.
