We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant in Maidstone to join our Kent Complex Care Division. As a Senior Carer, your role will involve working night shifts within the Kent area. You will work on a long-term basis with a number of young clients and will benefit from a permanent contract, as well as the option of overtime. We are looking for carers who are keen to work full-time hours; however, part-time roles are also offered.
The training you will receive: We will provide paid classroom-based training when you join us, with paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision provided by our in-house team of nurses and supervisors. Additional paid training is also provided to meet client-specific needs. We support Senior Carers who want to grow their skills and progress within the company.
When you join us, you’ll receive:
- Competitive rates of pay – £16.45-£18.80 per hour, £32.90 per hour for bank holiday work.
- Paid mileage of 45p per mile over 20 miles from your home.
- Permanent contract.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting a variety of clients on a 1-1 basis.
- Supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, long-term disabilities.
- Supporting new members of staff with shadow shifts and induction periods.
- Supporting a range of complex needs such as PEG, tracheostomy, ventilators, seizure management.
Requirements:
- Support clients living across Kent.
- Commitment to a full-time contract.
- A full UK driving license with access to your own car.
- Strong experience providing tracheostomy care.
- Experience with PEG feeding, ventilators, seizure management.
- Possession of, or willingness to work towards, a level 3 NVQ qualification or similar.
- Choice of day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Blue light card - we’ll pay for it.
- Enroll onto a Level 2 to Level 5 diploma.
