Superior Healthcare provides at-home complex care services to children, young people, and adults across the UK. Founded in 2006, we have been dedicated to supporting families who have had to make significant adjustments due to life-changing incidents or diagnoses.
The Role:
As a Children’s Care Assistant, you’ll work long-term with one client in the Chatham area. You’ll assist the young client with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, Ventilator Support, Personal care, Medication and daily living tasks.
- Part-time hours
- Night shifts only
- 8 – 10 hour shifts.
- Tracheostomy experience required
The training you will receive:
All our team members receive a fully paid, comprehensive, week-long, classroom-based training program with practical workshops before being introduced to our clients.
This training covers all aspects of the Care Certificate and delves into skills needed to support complex clients, such as tracheostomy management and gastrostomy.
Additionally, paid client-focused training continues following the initial classroom induction.

Responsibilities
- To provide complex care interventions such as PEG feeding and tracheostomy care.
- To confidently and clearly communicate with the client and using aids where necessary.
- To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
- To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare\’s policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
- A minimum of 6 months of UK-based care experience.
- Valid UK driving License and access to a vehicle for work.
- Choose a flexible or permanent contract.
- Blue light card – we’ll pay for it.

- Enroll onto a Level 2 to Level 5 diploma.
