We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and skilled Paediatric Complex Carer to support a 4-year-old child with complex medical needs during night shifts in their home. This role is ideal for someone confident with clinical tasks but who also enjoys creating a warm, supportive, and fun environment when the child is awake.
About the Role
- You will deliver essential overnight care while ensuring the child's safety, comfort, and wellbeing.
- The ideal carer will be fit, active, and willing to engage in gentle night-time play, bath routines or activities, while maintaining a calm, reassuring presence.
- Monitoring and supporting BiPAP ventilation throughout the night.
- Providing comfort, reassurance, and activities if the child wakes.
- Keeping accurate overnight care records.
- Experience in complex paediatric care (preferred).
- Someone fit, energetic, patient, and child-focused.
- A carer who can create a positive, gentle, fun atmosphere.
- Reliable, calm, and able to work independently during night shifts.
