About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support our 8‑year‑old client within their family home in Canterbury. This rewarding role involves providing person‑centred care and promoting our young client’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- PEG and enteral feeding
- Medication administration
- Supporting a child with severe learning difficulties
- Personal care
- Moving and handling
- Supporting daily living activities
- Monitoring and responding to changes in health and wellbeing
Shift Pattern
Waking Nights: 21:00 – 07:00
Week 1: Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Friday, Sunday
This is a rolling two‑week rota.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting children with complex care needs
- Full Right to Work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
- Confidence supporting clients with complex health conditions
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach
- Drivers are preferred but not essential
