We are recruiting experienced and compassionate complex care Support Workers / Care Assistants in Elham to join our team. Our goal is simple: we support clients to live life to the full - independently, happily, and safely at home - while providing our care team with fantastic benefits, genuine support, and opportunities to progress.
Your Role: You will be providing dedicated one-to-one care for an engaging and sociable 18-year-old young man with complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established care package, supporting an individual with a fantastic sense of humour who loves Formula 1, football, music, and social interaction.
Our client has cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs. He communicates non-verbally and uses eye gaze technology. He has epilepsy (infrequent seizures), is PEG fed, and requires administration of medication. Care is provided within our client's family home, which is fully adapted and equipped with specialist facilities, including ceiling hoists, an adapted bathroom, and a pool. A separate carer's room with an en-suite is available for admin tasks.
Pay rate: £14.00 to £17.00 per hour.
Shifts: Regular day shifts, at 08:00 - 20:00.
