Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a truly meaningful role where your care makes a direct difference to one child and their family? We are seeking an empathetic Registered Nurse in Ashford to provide dedicated 1:1 bedside care within the community. Although the role is based in the child’s home, it remains a hands-on, clinical nursing position, working closely with the family to support their child’s complex medical needs.
We currently have availability for one part-time nurse working two regular night shifts per week. Once inducted into the package, you will have a consistent working pattern with set shifts and have the opportunity to pick up extra shifts to cover when required — this is not an ad-hoc agency post.
About the role: Our client is a bright, playful 2-year-old girl, with a cheeky personality who adores attention, cuddles, and close companionship. They enjoy sensory activities and love to explore different textures and temperatures. Time spent with them is warm, rewarding, and filled with moments of connection as they engage with the world around them. You will provide individualised, comprehensive care tailored to their complex clinical needs. This includes support with chronic lung issues, ventilation, nebuliser treatments, and full tracheostomy management. You will also assist with PEG feeding via gastrostomy, seizure management, medication administration, personal care, and moving and handling.
The role offers the unique privilege of becoming part of a family’s daily life, providing continuity, reassurance, and expert care that enables their child to remain comfortable, safe, and happy in their own home.
Shift Pattern (set nights): Thursday, Saturday or Sunday – 21:00–06:00 (Your regular pattern will be confirmed following induction.)
