About the Role
Superior Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RCN/RGN) with a strong paediatric background to support a young child with complex health needs. The role offers the chance to provide high‑quality clinical care, support education and development, and significantly improve the child's wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical care tailored to the child’s complex medical needs.
- Manage specialist medical equipment (TPN, Hickman line, ileostomy, gastrostomy).
- Ensure strict fluid balance monitoring and loss replacement.
- Provide care for autism diagnosis with challenging behaviour.
- Support the child’s education and developmental goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, ensuring clear handovers and effective communication.
About the Client Background:
Child living with parents and younger siblings. Highly energetic and enjoys interaction with nurses.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months nursing experience with significant paediatric exposure; ITU, gastro, or TPN experience highly advantageous.
- Empathetic, fun, energetic, capable of engaging a lively boy.
- Excellent communication skills for efficient handovers.
- Calm under pressure, able to use initiative.
