Field Based - This role will manage upwards of 20 nurse clinics across Scotland and the North of England. Passionate about health and wellbeing? Love delivering exceptional patient care? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse/nurse manager looking for a new challenge! Reporting to the National Nurse Manager, the Regional Nurse Manager leads a team of our in-store Nurses to deliver safe and effective patient services and achieves commercial goals by providing direction and support to ensure all services are delivered in a consistent, professional and profitable manner, through optimal working practices.
A typical day in this role includes:
- Operational
- Accountable for delivering the Nurse clinic and in store private services budget.
- Lead, coach and develop the Nurse Team to deliver exceptional patient service, customer experience and develop a commercial plan that maximises all revenue opportunities.
- Ensure that best practice on optimal working is implemented across all Nurse clinics.
- Foster relationships with local Authorities, GPs, hospitals, businesses and other key stakeholders to help grow the business.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for all clinical practice and support with the development of policies and guidelines.
- Ensure best practice in the Nurse Clinic is adhered to and follow up on any areas of development recognised through clinic audits.
- Lead by example working to deliver ‘That Superdrug Feeling’ and a great Customer Experience in all aspects of the role, which can be demonstrated through the Superdrug Customer Experience Measure.
- Actively promote healthcare services to customers and key stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in recruitment as required and implement/support nurse induction programmes for new nursing colleagues.
- Work alongside the National Nurse Manager to encourage a spirit of ‘one team’, nurturing a positive culture and promoting the sharing of best practice across the Nurse team.
- Communicate openly with the Nurse team and other departments and stakeholders to ensure they are fully informed on all relevant internal and external business matters.
- Take an active lead in the ongoing personal, professional and clinical learning and career development of the Nurse team.
- Keep up to date with the minimum requirements of clinical and operational knowledge and the provision of healthcare services across NHS, Public Health and Private Sector markets.
- Ensure Information Governance and data protection policies are adhered to across the nurse team and manage responses required to any clinical incidents.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- You will need to have significant experience of successfully leading a team of clinical experts within a field-based role.
- You will understand the core principles of a retail or commercial business working environment.
- You need to have some Revalidation lead experience.
- You are effective at planning and managing your time, ensuring you remain adaptable within a fast-paced commercial environment.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to undertake extensive and UK wide travel with the occasional overnight stays. Therefore, a full UK driving license is essential.
