Join Our Superdrug Pharmacy Team – Whether You're Qualified or Just Starting Out! We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.
Location: Mearns Cross.
Hours: 20 hours per week over 3 days. We are looking for two candidates, each to work 20 hours over 3 days.
- Position 1: Monday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Tuesday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and Wednesday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
- Position 2: Thursday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Friday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Note that Saturday shifts will be alternated between both successful candidates.
Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour depending on age (Trainee pharmacy assistant).

What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
- Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
- Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
We're Looking For:
- Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
- No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
- A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team or independently
- Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
