Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office.

Here's the exciting bit… A day includes:

  • Responsible for ensuring picking, packing and dispatching processes of stores fulfilling online orders are efficient.
  • Responsible for delivering fulfilment SLAs; including order turnaround time, accuracy, and delivery deadlines.
  • Manage store capacity planning and workload balancing to support both in-store and online sales activities.
  • Monitor productivity and optimise resource allocation (staffing, equipment, space) to achieve efficiency targets.
  • Identify trends in data to drive action to improve performance.
  • Oversee processes for “order & collect,” “ship from store,” and returns handling.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop central and store teams to achieve KPI/SLAs.
  • Create a culture of performance improvement and accountability within central and store teams.
  • Produce succession plans for the team linked to stretch objectives to develop the capability of the team.
  • Ensure all central and field teams are trained as required and that appropriate record keeping is in place.

Customer Experience & Service Quality

  • Embed process to meet/exceed customer experience ROS requirements.
  • Utilise data to identify and implement opportunities. Manage exceptions and escalations related to late, missing, or incorrect orders and track/identify trends to put measures in place to improve service.

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Identify and implement opportunities to maximise product availability and stock accuracy within hubs, ensuring optimum stock and buffer levels accordingly.
  • Ensure sufficient audits are in place to minimise stock outs and preventing loss.

Cost Management

  • Ensure hours issued are adequate to fulfil demand & meet OPH budgets, proactively managing any overspend.
  • Ensure staff structures support flexibility to deal with unexpected demand.

Operational Excellence

  • Implement standardised procedures for picking & packaging.
  • Ensure accurate tracking is in place for operational KPIs (orders per hour, short/zero picks, order accuracy, hours spent and develop improvement plans.
  • Curious to explore and implement system, people and process opportunities to drive performance (including leveraging automation and AI).

Peak Planning

  • Responsible for producing and delivering peak plans that ensures stores are setup to meet increased demand whilst delivering against KPIs; including where needed the temporary setup and training of seasonal hubs.

Compliance, Safety & Standards

  • Ensure all fulfilment activities comply with health and safety, data protection, and operational standards.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, orderliness, and brand presentation in both retail and fulfilment areas. Conduct regular risk assessments for warehouse/fulfilment zones within the store.
