Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate the retail market to understand innovation in different sectors.
  • Work with commercial teams to define briefs for all new fixture development, considering cost, design, delivery and ESG.
  • Prepare and present board papers requesting project CAPEX approval.
  • Follow ASW procurement process, conducting tenders and quotation processes.
  • Collaborate with the space planning team to understand the space and location of new solutions, agreeing target stores based on segment.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and manage projects from concept to implementation, considering operational and cost efficiencies.
  • Own and manage the critical path for all fixture development projects, ensuring efficient roll‑outs.
  • Manage external facilities and stock control, ensuring fixtures arrive in the right place at the right time.

What You’ll Need

  • Project management experience and contract management.
  • Experience managing a team at a senior level.
  • Commercial experience in the retail sector balancing technical and commercial decisions.
  • Ability to travel within the UK.
  • Successful experience with external contractors, design agencies and implementation managers.
  • Capability to undertake projects independently and work in larger teams with internal and external partners.
  • Vendor and procurement management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and internal databases.
