This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing high street retailer. We are looking for a Dot Net Developer to join our expanding development team. The team is working in an AGILE manner using Kanban methodology. Generate detailed customer-focused initiatives, in line with the IT Department strategy and support with execution. Listen to the customer and implement new ideas and ways of working which are designed to improve service considering both Online and Offline. Whilst ensuring the team prioritises actions which delight the customer/team member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of software applications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
- Customer Focused: Be the voice of customers and orchestrate the organisation to live the brand purpose and inspire a customer-first culture to build customer love in every touchpoint of our O+O platform.

Technical Responsibilities:
- Design software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and API specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development processes.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through effective coding practices and system design.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.
- Ensure the security and integrity of software applications through adherence to cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years+ experience as a .Net Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in the .Net Stack.
- Experience developing mobile applications in Xamarin / .Net MAUI / Flutter.
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, ideally Azure.
- Establishes strong relationships at all levels.
- Can manage tough/complex messages with all stakeholders.
- Role model collaboration to the team to exceed goals.
- Positive attitude towards feedback, uses this to generate initiatives to meet/exceed expectations, and shares feedback in a meaningful way.
