Overview
Here’s the exciting bit… A day includes:
- The BI Developer designs and delivers dashboards, data models, and ETL processes that provide actionable insights to the business. Reporting to the Lead BI Developer, this role contributes to the organisation’s ability to make data‑driven decisions and improve customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineers, and other developers.
- Translating requirements into Power BI reports and SQL queries.
- Understanding business operations and how to translate them into usable data solutions.
- Driving innovation within the Data & BI team through improved standards and solutions.
- Supporting sprint objectives by delivering dashboards and data models.
- Providing outputs that managers and analysts rely on for operational performance.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating across the team.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in BI development and SQL.
- You will be qualified in a relevant field and with relevant certifications. (PL300 or other)
- You will understand the core principles of agile delivery and data modelling.
- You will have expert knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Fabric, and Jira.
- Your experience will have equipped you to deliver dashboards and collaborate effectively in Scrum teams.
What you’ll need
