  • Hours: 37.5 | 9.00am - 5.30pm - Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in our stylish, modern and collaborative office close to East Croydon Station.

The role...

As our SEO & GEO Copywriter you will be responsible for transforming the Superdrug.com eCommerce experience by levelling up our site copy. This spans our FAQ, Product, Category, Landing pages as well as reinvigorating the Superdrug Blog as a space to educate our customers on trends, our range and great beauty tips and advice.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate detailed customer focused initiatives, in line with the Online Business Customer and Marketing – SD strategy and support with execution.
  • Listen to the customer and implement new ideas and ways of working which are designed to improve service considering both Online and Offline.
  • Ensure the team prioritises actions which delight the customer/team member.
  • Customer Focus: Be the voice of customers and orchestrate the organisation to live the brand purpose and inspire a customer-first culture to build customer love in every touchpoint of our online and offline platform.
  • Tech & AI: Helping your team understand when to use AI, when to rely on human judgment, and how to combine both.
  • Tech & AI: Rethinking how work gets done - Actively shifting work from repetitive tasks to higher-value activities as AI takes on routine work.
  • Tech & AI: Role modelling behaviours to encourage confidence with AI. Actively developing your ability to use AI effectively and think critically about outputs.
  • Tech & AI: Strengthen Human Touch - Keeping the human element strong: Balancing AI efficiency with human coaching, empathy, and team cohesion.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 1-2 years experience in an SEO content and copy focused role, managing tactics and campaigns.
  • Ideally experience working a fast-paced retail head office.
  • Strong Copy writing skills.
  • Strong IT skills – MS Office, Excel.
  • Knowledge of Hybris ideal but not essential & Google Analytics.
  • A hands‑on, get stuck in, approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key.
  • Excellent time management and an ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to problem‑solve.
  • Establishes strong relationships at all levels.
  • Can manage tough/complex messages with all stakeholders.
  • Role model collaboration to the team to exceed goals.
  • Positive attitude towards feedback, uses this to generate initiatives to meet/exceed expectations, and shares feedback in a meaningful way.
