Key Responsibilities
- To work with the IT team and the wider business to identify, develop and implement improvements to technical systems and business processes.
- Building a strong understanding of the business and forging productive working relationships with key stakeholders. Analyse the information gathered and use it to propose solutions, supporting propositions with functional and systems design specifications.
- Involved throughout the development, delivery and testing phases, influencing the outcome of projects.
- Understanding and documenting business processes and workflows and their relationships to current and future software solutions.
- Partnering with business users, conducting interviews, documenting, and presenting requirements.
- Assisting business users, project managers and IT leadership in optimising scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects; managing user and management expectations.
- Analysing the impact of change requests.
- Supporting traceability from requirements through to QA; assisting in the definition of test plans, testing strategies and creation of test cases.
- Assisting in definition of roll‑out, training and user support plans.
- Creating and reviewing manuals, procedures, and related user documentation; ensuring documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience.
- Presenting concepts concisely, including narrative, process diagrams, role and accountability diagrams and business‑focused story‑boards.
