We’re currently recruiting a reliable, customer-focused Catering Assistant with barista experience to support our catering operation within a busy corporate workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about great coffee, quality food, and outstanding customer service. As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key role in preparing and serving food and drinks to a consistently high standard, supporting the team to deliver an efficient service that delights customers every day. You’ll be supported to grow and develop within a company that invests in its people and offers a friendly working environment with a strong focus on teamwork and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve perfectly crafted coffees and beverages to a high standard
- Prepare and serve high-quality food offerings in line with Superdrug standards
- Deliver first-class customer service in a professional corporate environment
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented coffee and service area
- Confidently operate coffee machines and brewing equipment
- Learn and apply knowledge of brewing methods, beverage blends, and food presentation
- Receive and process payments (cash and card transactions) accurately
- Maintain stock levels of clean cups, plates, and consumables
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Comply with Food Safety, Hygiene, and Health regulations
