Overview

Apprentice Retail Sales Advisor role at Superdrug. 39 hours a week, 13 Month Contract. Salary £10.30 per hour. Location: 59 Sidney Street, Cambridge CB2 3HX.

Superdrug is looking for individuals who are passionate about beauty and health, enjoy talking to customers and are ready to roll up their sleeves. The role offers great opportunities to progress and develop within the company.

What you’ll do

  • Serve customers, primarily at the till, delivering excellent service and ensuring customers don’t miss out on any Star Buys.
  • Help ensure the store is well stocked and maintains a high level of store presentation.
  • Contribute to achieving store targets and support team with day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with your Assessor and store team to improve communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
  • Participate in in-house training and apprenticeship activities to develop employability skills (interview skills, CV preparation, budgeting, health and wellbeing).

What you’ll need

  • Confident and clear communication skills.
  • Passion for retail and customer service.
  • Desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
  • Willingness to carry out piercing services for customers (training provided).
  • Flexibility in working hours and adaptability to change.
  • GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and maths (or equivalent).
  • Not currently in any form of education and available for full-time shifts.
  • Not yet completed a Retail Apprenticeship.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and brand-new to retail.
