Overview
Apprentice Retail Sales Advisor at Superdrug. Hours: 39 hours a week, 13 Month Contract. Salary: £9.50 Per Hour. Location: 18 George Yard, Braintree CM7 1RB.
Join Superdrug to start a career in retail with in-store training. An Apprentice Sales Adviser role is the starting point for progression within the company. We are a team that puts customers and colleagues at the heart of everything we do, aiming to be the best in accessible health & beauty, valued for value, choice, friendly advice, service and fun.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers, primarily at the till point, delivering excellent service and promoting Star Buys.
- Help ensure the store is well stocked and maintain high levels of store presentation.
- Support the team to achieve store targets and be involved in day-to-day store operations.
- Work with your Assessor and store team to develop communication, teamwork and organisational skills; participate in employability training (interview skills, CV preparation, money management, health and wellbeing).
- Training will take place in-store; you will complete an end point assessment and, on successful completion, achieve a Retailer L2 Apprenticeship.
- Discuss potential progression opportunities with your Assessor and Store Manager, including advancing to roles such as sales advisor or team leader.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Confident and clear communication skills; passionate about retail and customer service.
- Desire to learn and improve your knowledge and skills.
- Willingness to carry out piercing services for customers (training provided).
- Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change.
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade 4/C in English and maths.
- Not currently in any form of education and available for full-time shifts.
- Not previously completed a Retail Apprenticeship.
- Eligible to work in the UK; brand new to retail.
