A Day Includes
This role blends creative digital design with hands‑on digital marketing execution. You will create high‑quality, digital‑first assets for Paid Media Advertising (Paid Social, Paid Search, Affiliates) and support visual needs for blog content. Working closely with Design, Digital Marketing, Trading, and Marketing, you will produce on‑brand visuals that drive engagement, traffic and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Paid Media Channel Owners to create channel‑first digital assets that drive engagement, traffic and conversions on Superdrug.com and the Superdrug App.
- Support overflow work for website banners, landing page graphics and promotional visuals during peak periods.
- Develop and maintain best‑practice guides for digital asset creation with Paid Media specialists.
- Produce and edit video content for digital channels using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects).
- Concept development from brief to final assets – mood boards, sketches, storyboards, mock‑ups.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to align visuals with onsite design.
- Assist Paid Media Owners with testing, assessing and optimising digital marketing assets to deliver traffic and revenue‑driving campaigns.
- Create and adapt digital assets from web for Google, YouTube, Paid Social, Affiliate and Retargeting campaigns.
- Review competitor digital activity and recommend improvements.
- Attend photoshoots, support creative briefing and help deliver shoot‑ready content where necessary.
- Provide creative insights to improve campaign performance.
eCommerce & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Trading and eCommerce teams to support key promotional and seasonal events.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy and commercial relevance of off‑site assets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to deliver aligned, high‑impact digital journeys.
- Be the voice of customers and orchestrate the organisation to live the brand purpose, inspiring a customer‑first culture across online and offline platforms.
Skills & Experience
Essential Skills
- Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills (Photoshop, Illustrator; Premiere/After Effects desirable).
- Experience producing artwork for digital‑first formats (social, paid ads, web banners, affiliate placements, animations).
- Video editing and motion design skills.
- Understanding of layout, typography, colour theory and digital design fundamentals.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced retail environment.
