Responsibilities
- Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
- Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
- Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
- Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin a pharmacy career as a trainee pharmacy assistant
- No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
- A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team or independently
- Confidence to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
Location and Hours
- Location: Blackburn
- Hours: 6 hours per week, working Saturdays
Pay
- Dispenser: £13.30 per hour
- Trainee pharmacy assistant: Up to £12.50 per hour depending on age
