Responsibilities:

  • Preparing fresh food items such as salads, sandwiches, baguettes, toasties, protein pots, boiled eggs, jacket potato fillings, and yoghurt pots.
  • Ensuring food displays and counters are well stocked, fresh, and presented to a high standard.
  • Supporting lunch service (12:00‑2:00 pm, Monday‑Friday) to ensure timely and consistent delivery.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across kitchen and service areas.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Friendly, reliable, and team‑focused with good attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and support colleagues during busy periods.
  • Ability to work the required hours and shifts for the role.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment helpful but not essential.
  • Food safety certificate desirable; training can be provided where needed.
  • Not a chef required; simply someone who enjoys working with food, takes pride in their work, and contributes positively to a team environment.

Hours and Pay:

  • Part‑time: 16 hours per week, typically 9:30 am–2:30 pm, 3–4 days per week.
  • Paid hours: 4.5 per shift (30‑minute unpaid break).
