The Role
We are hiring a Delivery Manager to work alongside our Head of Delivery across clients, projects and operations. This is a role for someone early in their career who wants real responsibility quickly and a clear path to Pod Lead or Delivery Lead within 18 months.
What you will do:
- Track every live project: status, budget burn, key dates. Flag slippage early.
- Run weekly project reviews, take minutes people use, handle day-to-day client communications.
- Sit in on client meetings and produce clean notes and actions within 24 hours.
- Write briefs from client conversations, signal from noise, requirements the team can work from.
- Maintain the resourcing view. Spot conflicts early.
- Manage the freelancer roster: onboarding, contracts, day rates, invoice approvals.
- Prepare the monthly management pack.
- Maintain the decisions log.
- Support quarterly P&L and headcount reviews.
What we are looking for:
- At least two years working with Shopify.
- Two or more years in an agency or professional services firm in a delivery or operations role.
- Calm under load. Spikes are normal here.
- Strong written English.
- Numerate enough to read a budget burn or utilisation sheet and know what it means.
- Comfortable chasing clients, freelancers and colleagues without being asked.
- Discreet with sensitive commercial and people information.
- Hands-on with AI tools: Claude, N8N or equivalent.
