The teams work as one service to deliver NICE concordant care to service users as per national EIP standards. The service continues to develop and expand with a recent EIP successful funding bid to enable this. N-STEP accepts all referrals for people aged 14-65 with first episode psychosis or suspected psychosis. This is made with consideration of the individual's needs and risk.

The average number of CTOs across the service in the last 3 years (2020 & 2021) have been 4 -6 (which equates to 2-4% of the overall EIP caseload). The job description is subject to Royal College of Psychiatry approval.
