HMP Whitemoor is a Category A male prison located on the outskirts of the market town of March in Cambridgeshire with free parking and an onsite gymnasium. Healthcare services are delivered from a modern well‑equipped healthcare centre by a multi‑disciplinary team. The successful candidates will benefit from an extensive supernumerary induction period, alongside regular supervision and appraisals and be encouraged to undertake training.
Main Duties of the Job:
- The post holder will provide leadership for a designated team, including the implementation of systems and processes that will support service delivery and staff within the team.
- The post holder will facilitate the dissemination and implementation of policies to ensure governance is firmly embedded within the team.
- To provide line management and clinical leadership within the team.
- Highlight and facilitate the opportunity of introduction and development of new practices thereby supporting the implementation of key strategic priorities across the team.
- Ensure clinicians are supported to achieve commissioning targets and to develop, implement and evaluate service improvement plans within areas of responsibility.
- In conjunction with clinical leads ensure the implementation of consistent and high standards of care delivery, taking action to identify and address variances.
- Establish regular audit schedule and Health and Safety compliance.
